Why don't you shoot out both of them, making me literally blind as well as figuratively!" or "Hey, Angron! I bet my head is harder than the edge of your Black Blade! Want to test the strength of your arm against the strength of my neck?" like a suicidal fool. He still needs a gorget to protect his neck, though. You'd think he'd learn after Fulgrim slit his throat. Hell, Cawl incorporated gorgets in Mark X power armor, so why didn't he for the Primarch's own suit? Echoing the helmet choice, it makes him look more like the warrior he is rather than asking to get his face blown off. Maybe his skull is made of the same material?
