Tiger9gamer Posted August 21, 2018 Share Posted August 21, 2018 so I have been thinking of getting some tankbustas to replace my very lack luster lootas, but upon further inspection the price for ten of these gits are outrageous (90 USD?! for a squad that doesn't even have all rockets?!) and so it's time to convert. the only problem is that most of my army I have gotten second hand or from black reach, so I do not have 10 rokkit launchas laying around. I would expect whole Rokit launchers, if I were looking. For a spare bit look for kombi - Rokit bitz from the Mega Nobz kit. those Rokits are extra bitz, might be just what your looking for. The actual models have mainly guys with various jury rigged things (the hammer rokkit thing is just fantastic) but is it advisable to give them all Rokkit Launcher equivalents? And they can shoot out of a Truckk? Is that right? Yes as standard. Though they can have a Pistol form, or a hammer. But the trusted Rokkit is the best, as is putting them into a truckk. Looking at the Speed Freaks battleforce but don't want to make Lootas so think they'll end up carrying a variety of Rokkit launching things. Nice. You can make most of the mob out of Boys. there are currently a Tank Busta with rokkit pistols and a Tank Busta with a Tank Amma, which is like a rocket on a pole, where there should have been a hammer. It inflicts mortal wounds when it hits. And the nob. If you've got the buitz and some skills you can bash those up from plastics. The two specialists aren't mandatory in the units. And I think each one is a 1 in 5 so 2 Rokkits 1 Nob 1 Amma 1 Pistols, not counting the nob in the next 5 models in the unit. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Must have one or two with the hammer, it's so Ork! A small suicide unit of five tankbustas is pretty fun. Give the nob a powerklaw (and he gets to chuck the tankbusta bomb whenever possible. Give one guy the rokkit pistols since they're super cool, two other guys tankhammers and the last ork a rokkit launcha simply because you have to. Is it optimal? No, and plenty of people will quickly point that out. You don't need these people in your life, you need the tankhammers! (It's also super Fury Road with the whole "witness me" angle if that brings you as much joy as it does me) Put some burnas (although they're depressingly mediocre in the index) or another identical unit of tankbustas in the truck and blitz forward.
