Thanks guys! Hopefully I'll get some more painting done over the holidays.

Glad to see this up an running again! Do you still have your Imps?

I have my entire retro-marine deathwatch mostly assembled and ready to go, but aside from a test model, nothing's painted.

I look forward to seeing those one day, but I was referring to these which sadly no longer have an image :(

Ohhh, literal Imps, not IMPerials!

Yeah. the little guys are sitting in my display case, counting as pink horrors. Unfortunately I've hardly used any Daemons in 8th edition because

1: my local comp makes allying them in difficult and

2: all the troop rules transformed them into massive horde units, and I only have 10 of each. Not much incentive to drop in 10 pink horrors anymore :/

Maybe one day I'll bump them up to 30 models and throw fireballs around again.

I've been enjoying my holiday break and got some angry-robot painting done!

Ever since the rules for the FW Termite Drill dropped, I knew I wanted to bash one together. It's like the horrible lovechild of a dreadnought and a rhino. What's not to love?

I took one of the Sector Mechanicus smokestacks as a base, because I liked the size and shape . Bolted on some Robogear Spider legs (such a good source of gribbly legs), and a tyranid Spore mouthpart for something proper chaosy. Just don't ask me which end the passengers "disembark" from.

I also took some shots of my Warpsmith, which I've had sitting around for a while, but now that he's got some nice pointdrops I think he'll make his way into my games more often.

Tau Stealthsuit legs make for good armoured goatmen.

Hey, those Imperial lapdogs don't have carte blanche on an entire primary colour!

Honesty though, it's more of a schoolbus orange than the tranditional lemon yellow of the Fists. I chose it specifically as an "unaligned" colour (not red/blue/green/purple) so I could feel less bad about taking non-khorne units in my obviously khorne themed army.

Getting some models done for LVO this weekend!

Berserkers made from WFB beastmen and chaos warriors.

With the new CA pointsdrop for dreads and helbrutes, I had to make a few more of the critters.

Here's a stock brawly Helbrute with melee weapons and double combibolters ( rotor cannon)

He's my favorite model in this thread, looking AWESOME and intimidating as literal Hell.

Awesome work all around. While the yellow is a god neutral colour, I think they look like Traitor Fists, not that that is a bad thing.

The jump pack on the raptor I found in your gallery is from Kromlech, right?

I loved the idea of a big heavy tank to go with my 1950's style Primaris Retromarines, but the kit is so very modern looking I had to bash it up a bit. The dome turret was provided from a Kharadron airship, and I sanded down a lot of the sharp edges on the hull to make it fit my aesthetic a bit better. Lastly, I shuffled around a lot of the weapon system and combined a lot of them into a generic missile pod, because holy cow the repulsor is a dog's breakfast of guns and rockets.
