Daimhin Posted August 29, 2018 Author Share Posted August 29, 2018 This list is meant to represent the remnants of a Loyalist force continuing to fight but relying on robots to make up loss of numbers and to reduce casualties on the remaining force. Forge Lord runs with Domitar Maniple. List essentially relies on pressure up front with the 2 squads of robots and the assault marines, backed up by the Acheron, all advancing hard towards the enemy lines. The Javelins will likely Outflank and then try to deal with any "artillery" style tanks. Mortis and two Vindicators will hold the back line and provide fire support. The only characters eligible to join Battle-Automata are the Praevian and select Taghmata models with the Patris Cybernetica rule. As for the concept and the rest of the list, I love it, but two points stand out as noteworthy: Sonic Shriekers on Loyalists ? Yeah, it's totally fine in terms of rules, but somehow feels odd with me. But like I said, if you dig it, go for it. The more important part from my (limited) point of view: You got TWO scoring units in 3k points ... which might pose problems in objective-grabbin' games and certain scenarios. Cheers ! Like mentioned above, only the Praevian and models with the Patris Cybernetica rule are allowed to do this An exception are the IW specific Iron Circle Domitar-Ferrum which can be joined by a single IW independent character.
