Sete Posted September 13, 2018 Share Posted September 13, 2018 Hello! This will be the start of my rogue trader army. Quick Bio: Rogue Trader Sebastian Korr. A Pius servant of the God Emperor he will be a Missionary/Explorer rogue trader. Having close ties with the Adeptus Ministorum (and a warrant of trade issued by them) we will seek new worlds to colonize and lost colonies of mankind to bring into Imperial Fold. No xenos or anything heretic on this army. They might be accompanied by a squad of Black Templars. Going to use Van Saar as mercs aswell. The matron of the family had good contacts and influence within the ministorum in a sector (to be decided) While a Pious person, a rogue trader needs to make some profit aswell. If he can make some thrones while spreading the good word of the Imperial creed, and seize some trade routes, even better Need to read on the Missionaria Galaxia now This is actually perfect Xisor! thanks! Xisor Posted September 14, 2018 Share Posted September 14, 2018 They tend not to have much direct involvement in stories/lore, but it's implied that they trundle on in the background continuing the work of the Great Crusade by seeking out lost colonies, and probably more commonly, wholesale settling new worlds that aren't already gobbled up by Rogue Traders. Or being brought in after the fact by RTs who've looted all the big valuables and staked claim to the more enticing spots! Makes sense there'd be some sort of relationship though, and as it's very off-piste (even new SoB stuff next year hasn't hinted at touching on the MA), so it's a lot of license to spin up whatever you fancy in as creative or boring a way as you wish! :D Glad to bring it your attention though, it's an odd wee bit that rarely gets any light shone on it! This army is going to be an Imperial Soup. might get a couple armingers and some skiitari aswell. I'm actually in the proces of designing a fluffy imperial soup army myself, intending to convert/kitbash most of the army in the next couple of years. Already ordered a box online. With the news of Inquisitor KT, I will add an Inquisitor to travel with the Rogue trader, but first things first!
