Poloz Light box/tent: any good for photographing miniatures?

Hi, just wondered if anyone has used one of these (or the similar products out on the market) for taking pics of their miniatures?

Im looking for a cheap, small (for easier storage) and portable light box - this seems to fit the bill, but I'm concerned the lighting strips run at the top of the box, that 'cause of this you'd get unwanted shadows obscuring details on the minis.

Has anyone on here used anything like this, or does anyone think this type of light box should be avoided?

Thanks for looking and for any advice! :)

I have a similar one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0782S48JG/ref=s9_acsd_zgift_hd_bw_bMTqJz_c_x_w?pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_r=BANSSJA8GWWRHKZHHBJM&pf_rd_r=BANSSJA8GWWRHKZHHBJM&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=f0741acc-aecc-5a18-a512-33e924c5de4c&pf_rd_p=f0741acc-aecc-5a18-a512-33e924c5de4c&pf_rd_i=332192031,

it works quite well. you don't have to use the in-built lights if you don't want to on mine (just a normal USB connection), you can just light it with other lamps externally.

here are a few taken using it:

I picked it up as it is easy to setup and take down. mine also came with a white and black background option. you can just about fit a knight in it:

overall very happy with it.

Thanks!, a lot of it will depend on how good your camera is!

They are pretty much designed to be used for photographing small objects. the white material on mine is also thin enough to allow external light sources through so you can play around using the built-in and external lighting until your happy.

most of those above were either the built-in lights on their own or the built in lights + a lamp.

either way for the price you can't go wrong.
