I missed on Epic (instead started with battlefleet), love the heresy, and decided to buy a titan to celebrate my confirmation into the mechanicus (ie: defended my PhD in computer science in may). And then, GW releases titanicus the week-end of my birthday. Awesome ! (so I did not get a titan but several on a smaller scale)! I'm building a legio mortis, with two warlord and a reaver. I'm also building an axiom maniple for a loyalist legio, probably True messengers but not fully sure of the paint scheme. I've also no idea on which knight house I will do. Sparika Posted September 20, 2018 Author Share Posted September 20, 2018 My almost finished Mortis Warlord. Gold/bronze on the left leg is finished. I have yet to do it on other parts. Will do decals and light weathering later. Magnetizing Reaver arms without a 5mm pin. First, I cut a 1mm piece between the upper arm and the round socket. At this place, the arm section is 5mm, it's perfect for the recommended magnet size. I then glue one magnet on the arm (with another magnet magnetized to it). Then, I glue the ball on the second magnets, and finally glue the ball into the reaver socket. Less satisfied on the reaver gauntlet, I will have to make something better. It's still acceptable IMHO.
