Hi all! First time posting an army list on the Board at all, so go easy (I'm not in a Slaaneshi mood, so don't whip me too hard ). But, my FLGS is organizing a mega-battle this Saturday, and I'm bringing the Sons of Barbarus and some Daemonic help.
These are the rules for the battle (spoiler tagged because of space)

This is a large game, so the table setup is 8’ x 8’ set up as two (2) 4’ x 8’ play surfaces.
A gap will be left between the surfaces which models and weapons can cross freely. For shots and movements fired across the gap, measure to the edge of the table and mark the exit point, then mark the entry point on the opposite table and measure from there. Extra dice make excellent temporary markers.
The edges at the gaps are not board edges!
At the center of the table is a marker to represent the “King of the Hill” objective. This is a 4” wide objective, placed 4’ from each board edge. This objective is considered an enemy model to all other models when using deep strike rules, or any other rules allowing models to enter from outside of play. It is considered only an objective marker and not a model for models on the board.
Players may enter the event with as few as 1000 points. Players may field an army up to 8000 points, but the entire army must share at least one keyword. Command points are generated as normal army lists allow. Player’s point count (not necessarily the list) has to be turned in to the TO by the day prior for setup.
Deployment will be pre-set to speed up turn 1. Placements will be randomized, but with some guidelines:
Armies over 6000 points will be required to take corners, and use additional deployment space, so they will go randomly amongst themselves first.
Once armies over 6000 points have been assigned their starting zones, armies with over 3000 points will randomly select zones of 2 sections,
Armies under 3000 points will be randomly assigned zones from what remains of single sections.
The TO will adjust the deployment zones to make sure everyone fits.
The turn order will be randomized each turn. Players will pull numbers out of a hat and keep their turn order hidden until their movement phase begins. This will help to keep the game interesting.
Notes:
We will be playing with the beta Deep Strike and Smite rules.
The Rule of 3 table will not apply, as the spirit of the rule is to keep armies from being one dimentional, and we hopefully will not see that with lists this large, and designed to get everything on the table.
Win conditions: King of the Hill - Take and hold the “King of the Hill” Objective. Hold the objective continuously for one complete turn to win. The objective is only considered held if all of the models within the objective marker are from one army, regardless of “ObSec” rules. The check to see if it is continuously held is performed at the END of each players turn, when passing to the next player. (e.g.: If the attacker enters the objective in melee combat, but is the defeated, it is considered held continuously.)
Last Man Standing - At the end of a player’s turn they are the only army left with models on the table.
Highest Point Count Removed - If the game ends by time/round limit, the player who removed the most enemy points from the table will be determined the winner. It is best to keep track of killing blows and points along the way.
Mortarion's Maggotkin (Allegiance: Chaos & Nurgle)
Superheavy Detachment (+0 CP)
Lord of War: Mortarion
Brigade Detachment (+12 CP)
HQ: Typhus
HQ: Daemon Prince of Nurgle (Talons, Sword)
HQ: Malignant Plaguecaster
No poxwalkers in the list because of these reasons:
1: I don't have all of them built
2: While I could fit the two detachments of Battalions, I didn't want to bring an extra TWO-HUNDRED AND TWENTY MODELS
3: I didn't want to out-horde the Tyranids player by almost a hundred models
I need recommendations for who's the Warlord, and Relics. Since I have 2 factions, I can have one from the both the Death Guard & Daemons relic list, at no Command Points.
