Big_D Posted October 21, 2018 Share Posted October 21, 2018 Hello all, Finally decided to join this group of brothers & sisters after many years "Lurking" on this site. I am an ancient since the days pre Rogue Trader, when all that was on offer was D&D, goblins, elves, dragons, humans etc. Then one day in my local hobby store these metal marines turned up. Fantasy mixed with Scifi, my head exploded and my bank account developed a permanent black hole. Oddly, never played the game (or any game system - not my thing), just in it for the fluff & the models. In fact the books have kept me in the hobby all these decades. Picked the brush up some 12 yrs ago. Have to say we are in a fantastic time for the hobby. I can actually go and purchase a Primarch model (well most of them - cross fingers I am still alive when the emperor goes on sale lol). Great quality models, good spread of interesting games, re-releasing old classic's with modern models great & books. But its not a total love in, GW can miss the mark & pricing is eye watering at times. But I look forward to reading your posts on theses and other subjects and now having the ability to pop my head over the parapet and contribute to discussions, You will most likely find me lurking in the hobby section(s) and book section.
