Upcoming KT Tourney - Advice wanted

Hello brothers and sisters of the killing teams. On the 17th my flgs is running their first KT tourney, and I plan on being there with bells on. There's a painting competition along with it, so I intend to bring my Lamenters despite them being not quite top notch. I'm wondering if any of you have some good advice for me I may not have thought of. The format is 4 matches, one each of the 4 Matched Play scenarios, so I know I'll need a team to be able to handle combat and shooting. That said, I've got 15 of my 20 slots filled with a good amount of variety.

 

Intercessor Sergeant (Leader) - Power Sword, Bolt Rifle. Will probably be my leader for most games so may be the only Leader specialist I take.

Intercessor Gunner (Comms) - Bolt Rifle, Launcher, Auspex

Intercessor - Bolt Rifle

 

Tactical Sergeant - Bolter, Power Fist.

Tactical Sergeant - Combi-Plasma

Tactical Gunner (Demo) - Flamer

Tactical Gunner (Heavy) - Heavy Bolter

Tactical Marine - Bolter

Tactical Marine - Bolter

 

Reiver Sergeant (Combat) - Combat Blade

Reiver - Combat Blade

Reiver - Combat Blade

 

Scout Sergeant (Sniper) - Sniper Rifle, Camo Cloak

Scout Gunner - Missile Launcher, Camo Cloak

Scout Gunner - Heavy Bolter

 

 

Any advice on the remaining 5 slots? Tempted for some scouts just in case but I'm not sure they'd get used.

Have you thought about trying to get a 2nd auspex on a tac marine, that would come in very handy aswell, since the latest faq update.

 

Maybe a Reiver with shrapnel, a primaris with AGL, I'd be tempted also to add a stalker bolt rifle with sniper, yes it's heavy 1 but have an auspex guy near him to help.

Remember you can have more than 4 Specialists on your Rooster and even doubles of them.

 

Sniper on a Sniper rifle is questionable, as Demo works way better for it. So a Sniper Rifle/Demo Scout (Increases chances for the mortal wound).

Sniper on a Missile Launcher is awesome. You want those Kraks to hit.

Medic Spec to slot in for the comms as a melee booster.

You are lacking one Intercessor Gunner. At least one Aux Launcher is very handy in a squad. Do not underestimate those grenades.

Maybe a Veteran Reiver to move up first turn with the tactic + forward position scout phase. Could lead to first turn charge and ruin a Tau's day.

 

Speaking of Auspex/Coms spec: I would advise to not put it on a gunner, as he cannot buff himself with those. Maybe on a tactical bolter or so, as the coms/auspex job is more sitting around and buffing.
