I’ve picked up my new Iron warriors army and am about to play my first game. 3k taking the Hammer of Olympia RoW HQs - warsmith (cataphracti, combi, hammer & usual lasers & master crafted) along with 2 master of signals (artificer and refractors) Elites - 3x quads with shatter shells Troops - 3x 10 man tactical - 2 in rhinos (HB & MM) and the usual additional combat weapons, artificer, vox etc) HS - whirlwind scorpius, sicaran with pintle MM & lascannons sponsons, 10x siege tyrants, smaller squad of havocs with 5xAC & 2xLC LoW - shadowsword with sponsons, marine crew & targeters Looking forward to bringing the rain! Varyn Posted November 22, 2018 Share Posted November 22, 2018 Just a few question/thoughts: where are the HQ's going? I'd recommend dropping the pintle MM on the sicaran. I think 10 siege tyrants might be overkill, you could drop 2-3 to spend the points elsewhere on some more mobile units. Gun lines can't be quite dull to play Not sure on mixing AC & LC on havocs, they're optimised for different targets Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Absolutely agree re the MM on the sicaran - I built it before I really knew the game....but it's here now! 10 tyrant siege is a lot.....and I like it! The HQ at the moment is foot slogging....but I have a termie squad made up (7 inc. a standard) so will probably end up with them.
