Astartes Consul Posted November 9, 2018 Share Posted November 9, 2018 Hoping to pick the collective B&C forum brain a bit here. I've recently bought one of the limited edition Forge World Legion Praetors in Tartaros Armour. I want to do a minor kit bash to make it my own, and while I have most of the extra bits I want to use already, I've been looking for a cloak/cape that might be useable and am a bit stuck. The plastic Wolf Lord and Chaos Terminator Lord capes were the first I looked at, but don't think they'll fit. The 30k Guilliman cape was another but having never seen it IRL I'm unsure... Any suggestions? Ps. My green stuff skills are WOEFUL so sculpting my own is out of the picture Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Elzender Posted November 9, 2018 Share Posted November 9, 2018 The standard custodes kit (the first one released) has a cape that suits terminators pretty well. Actually, I have used it in a conversion based on the tartaros praetor, although I modified the legs to make them longer, so I don't know if the cape might be too long for the original miniature. The cape is actually a bit wider than the torso, but just adding something to pad out the space shouldn't be too difficult, and it would probably be hidden by the cape itself and the shoulder pads. Exalted sorcs can work, but have attachment points designed for PA backpacks. That one's cape is better for Space Wolves or a more 'barbaric' chapter due to the tears and fur, imo.
