I would be cool if B&C makes some kind of competition of this. There are some of the big chapters that are a bit lacking in the hero department. Do the Iron Hands even have a named hero? As for the Character Customisation rules, lets see what they turn out like. If they are like the custom Land Raiders from the last Chapter Approved (which is to say "normal Land Raiders with a slightly higher than normal but still small selection of weapons") then I can't imagine they'll be that interesting. If on the other hand they allow any character to take any infantry-portable wargear from the lists in their Codex, then that could be very interesting indeed. This event and they got named as one of the (sub)factions that is getting one of these new specialised detachments you pay with CP for. The only concern here I have (aside of the general concern to see them screwing it up like they did with formations) is that if we pay for those detachments with CP it means they won't generate CP so we're most likely ending up with a Battalion as well to have enough CP in the first place ... and as we all know a Battalion isn't exactly cheap for Marines.
