Forgeworld is out as the to of my local torneys I got too does not like forgeworld so he bans it What's a good superheavy to try? Is it the doomhammer ? The shadowsword is great for really tough things and the stormlord can mulch hordes and transport units so it depends on what you want to do. Expendable_Aquanaut Posted November 22, 2018 Share Posted November 22, 2018 I've used the hellhammer with the vostroyan doctrine before and it works pretty well. Extra range on the main gun is really useful. This was early 8th edition though so I don't know if it is still competitive in the new meta. Unfortunately it is one of if not the most expensive variant so you may have to drop sponsons to build the rest of your force. What other elements are you considering? Mainly tanks, or some punchy close combat units too. Crusaders with a priest are surprisingly effective.
