However I didn't expect it the other way. There will be a wave of hate, which is understandable. However I hope this means more weapons for the Primaris. Guest MistaGav Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 I think the hate mainly stems from the dislike for primaris as a whole and now the confirmation that older marines can be upgraded signalling the (long and eventual) death of older marines.I'm not an ultramarines player myself but man I really like him and will most definitely pick the model up. Not sure how I would better phrase that idea but a unit of up to X that acts as characters or something, not just a single unit model. Or maybe it's just a strong unit. Like a Nobz mob. Seahawk Posted November 24, 2018 Share Posted November 24, 2018 I'm betting his rules with the two Honour Guard will be similar to Saint Celestine and the Gemini (hoping hoping!). His model is totally boss. One hand is shooting (check all the sexy brass pouring out his bolter), the other hand is raised and inspiring. He's wearing Gravis armor, he's aged since his previous iteration, and he's still sporting some shiny bling. The classic lines are still there (fists with laurels, eagle backpack) and they added some sweet flames to the fists too. Overall, super ace release. I'm going to be adding some Armorcast muzzle flashes to the shooting bolter, otherwise it just looks silly. Also, found this: I have a mighty need! Despite it probably being a $60+ box. But No no no no no no no no no This is not the way to do it. I don't want to read about old marines being super juiced and made Primaris! When do these guys just retire and or die!?!?!? GW has recognized they need their old players too, so have been heavily catering toward them lately to keep them in the game. Calgar getting the Primaris treatment, well not overly fond but I guess that will be the future. The pose is ok'ish. But I like those two honour guards! According to what’s been said at WHW today, the transformation nearly killed him, so I bet this will only be for certain characters I’m one of those older players, and I definitely want to see the likes of Azrael, Dante, Ragnar, helbrect etc step into the Rubicon and get transformed.
