Skorp Posted November 30, 2018 Share Posted November 30, 2018 I can't resist diving into my dream crimson fists army with the new upgrade sprues and holiday box coming out soon. I love the idea of a few veteran crimson fists with Kantor reinforced by the indomitus crusade. I've got kantor on order and am planning to pick up one of each of the primaris holiday boxes next week along with tooth and claw early next year. With Dark imperium this will give me a large amount to get started with. Apologies for posting here rather than in army lists, this is early in my thought process and I wanted to get thoughts on the direction I'm going before investing the money. Right now the list I'm considering would look something like this: Kantor Primaris Lt Primaris Lt 5x intercessors 5x intercessors 9x intercessors Vet/dev squad (vets for cc probably makes most sense) 6x aggressors 2x redemptor Razorback Repulsor Basically have 2 or 3 groups depending on mission. 3 aggressors, 5 intercessors, and a redemptor would make up a group. Can double up for a larger group or split and have two of these. Dreadnaught can give reroll 1s to hit with strategem. Aggressors can make good use of the bolter drill strategem. The last group would be 9 man intercessor with Lt. in repulsor and kantor with vets/devs in razorback moving up the field. Skorp Posted December 4, 2018 Author Share Posted December 4, 2018 Much thanks, Kantor is in the mail and I just picked up a box of sternguard vets today. Was happy to find that the sarge can take a powerfist and still keep his special issue boltgun. Looks like I can fit a primaris ancient into the list with the vets dropping the 9 man intercessor squad to 8 and also will throw in my captain in gravis armor for the hell of it. Good list to start working on and ticks all the dark imperium boxes. Should be able to fill out a battalion and a vanguard detachment.
