How would you guys recommend expanding this to 2.5k or 3k? Varyn Posted December 2, 2018 Share Posted December 2, 2018 Just a few suggestions based on my experience :) I would recommend taking an additional castellax with your praevian or it's not really worth taking him, also tank hunters isn't ideal for the unit, I would suggest scout so you can outflank the unit. So the unit would be Praevian, 2 castellax with mauler bolt cannons, 1 with power blades and 1 with a siege wrecker. (also consider adding a siege wrecker to the big castellax unit) I would highly recommend some kind of transport for the terminators or they might struggle to have an impact, I would also look at adding 1-2 chainfists to the unit. I'd consider adding a couple more guys to your plasma support squad to give them a bit more punch, they would also benefit from a rhino to protect them. I would probably drop the armoured ceramite on the vindicator, it's only AV11 on the sides so AC won't make much difference. Adding the extra castellax, a landraider/dreadclaw for the terminators & a rhino for your support squad will get you close to 2500. Beyond that I would look at adding some siege tyrants or havocs for some more anti armour. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then have a unit of one single Castellax in Heavy Support and give him the 'Paragon of Metal' rule.
