Thousand Sons Trait House Rule

So in an effort to get back into 40k, a friend of mine(main opponent really) has agreed to some house ruling to make games against his EC, Tau and Dark Eldar more competitive.

 

The Thousand Sons trait is what we decided to tweak as it just doesn't make sense...we both agreed that the 7th edition trait made the army a real threat and solves the AT weapon problem against TS infantry units.

 

New Trait: If a Psychic Power is cast successfully a unit 6" away from the Psyker gains +1 on its invulnerable save roll. Invulnerable saves improved by this ability cannot be improved past 4+.

 

Not sure when we will give it a try, but I will try and post the results here!
