Pillaging an imperial garage

Recommended Posts

Leman Russ are gratifying to use on the tabletop. I have little experience with their other tanks... I have seen hell hounds do good work though, especially against assault oriented armies.

Let me refine the question, I know what the cult can currently take. My question was more of what would you want to take from the imperial guard codex as a “converted and infiltrated” detachment.

My cult is gonna be utilizing the large portion of imperial guard or the planetary defense force as the “secret police”. Carrying out missions to protect the “imperium” when really they are the pushing the agenda of the cult.

Brood brothers don´t get regimental bonuses any way, so I´l recomend IG- stuff that functions well without regimental doctirnes and cover weaknesses the cult has. Perhaps a big blob of bullgryns a priest and a psycher or two.

Well I´d say hellhounds and indirect-fire artillery are on the list. Hellhounds are ace, but if the new *leaked* gsc quad has access to clearance incinerators they might overlap with the hellhound. Same goes for plasma guns. The gsc have few shooting weapons with a "plasma profile". A few squads with some plasma could work wonders

Or just go with the rule of cool. If you love some models, just bring em´on to the battlefield.

Bullgryns could be fun! With a little bit of converting. Those quads do look awesome! I wonder what else we might get. Honestly I’m happy we got anything new. I figured the cult was not high on GW radar. I want to “loot” some of the new ork buggies but I am not sure what they should count as
