Today I was applying a lot of decals to flags.

And applying flags to titans.

I really dragged my feet over these because I was worried I would do a bad job and waste a load of time (and decals), however I'm glad I did it and that they turned out basic but ok.

Worst comes to worst, you can slide into Legio Kydianos and swap between the Vulturum and custom rules at your leisure? It is a bit concerning but it would be a real shame to re-do all of this fine work :(

Yeah good idea, I'd forgotten about them.

 

You get rules though. Don't know what they are yet, except the option of maximal fire VMBs... which is an interesting one! Lucius hounds with S8 VMBs could be a threat.

Those poor hotdogs popping off like firecrackers!

Something else you might consider is an oil wash. It will act more like a filter where it's applied, and with how some of the black panels in the new art also look dirty, it could be applied across every panel. Here that is on two different Necron testers via Cult of Paint, here and here. They have a lot of great videos on using oils.
