So with this news I'm starting a grassroots campaign to shake the pillars of GW to save our Priests on Thunderwolves. Seriously though this unit is now ~10% cheaper. I also want our bikes back, but man, I kitbashed more than one "thunderwolf" iron priest and I think it was a mistake to take that away from them (truth be told, I was really hoping our 8th ed Codex would give thunderwolf mounts to all our priests because I hate mixing units with different movement - but it's clear GW wasn't planning on making Thunderwolves better). Karhedron Posted December 7, 2018 Share Posted December 7, 2018 I have started taking an IP with the Armour of Russ for a tasty 2+/4++ save. He normally follows Bjorn to keep him patched up and so he can HI and slow down any really nasty monsters that try to take him out in melee. Early days but so far it is working well.
