Lucky_Lee Posted December 14, 2018 Share Posted December 14, 2018 So I've been theory crafting a Primaris Deathwatch - Admech list. I was looking to see anyones thoughts on it? I posted a list below to give an example of what I was thinking. I guess I'm looking for experienced players who can tell me if these two factions complement each other well or not. Basically the DW would be the line troops mopping up infantry and mobs. The mechanicus could target and take down big threats like titans and such. The Arquebus rangers can also act as snipers picking off characters. I left the list at 1993 for wiggle room. Vel'Cona Posted December 18, 2018 Share Posted December 18, 2018 As always, with a DW blender the biggest issue is cost effectiveness. DW soak up a ton of points on their own, so anything they bring with them needs to be efficient (at best) to avoid overstacking expensive units. Prior to this point, AdMech were massively overpriced and underperforming at those costs; thanks to CA changes, this may now be less of an issue though you're still losing out compared to a "pure numbers" allied Detachment like IG. That being said, CA is still very new so it remains to be seen how the massive points drops GW implemented will affect the various armies. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
