Beast of Nurgle (Squick warning)

Good lord! I've actually finished a model! Unfortunately, it's also possibly the most disgusting thing I have ever made. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

 

Anyway, behold Rotbottom, Beast of Nurgle! He is...unfathomably horrible.

He's a big, happy sack of diarrhoea and he wants your love!

He was painted mostly with washes over an Averland Sunset basecoat and then a drybrush of Tyrant Skull and Hexos Palesun.

The pools of filth on the base and the muck spewing from him tentacles was done with a WD trick from years ago- Modelling Snow (or Valhallan Blizzard in this case) mixed with paint (Skrag Brown and Mournfang Brown) and something gloopy (it recommended water effects but I used Sigismund Yellow) to create this horrible chunky slop. It's...actually horrible.

I'm very proud of his organs spilling from his belly. The research I had to do to get them looking realistic, less so. Good thing I have a strong stomach...

Wow, that flesh actually looks necrotized. The filmed-over eye is gross too. Impressive technique!!
