wildweasel Posted February 3, 2019 Share Posted February 3, 2019 My impression of Geoff's comment was in regards to the existing Dropship. I've noticed that with the exception of some obvious/basic things (e.g. deep striking for Termies and jump packs, invuls on vehicles, gravitic backwash), none of the beta stuff really has any "flavor" rules - just the wargear that's on the model. My take is that they want to publicly test the units without such rules to get more of a feel for the "baseline" of what the models physically have, then iterate on that. Them testing a bomb on the Orion internally, and James on the livestream saying they chose to just do the special spears as standalone unit of Guard for now versus trying to mix them in or create a new unit type.
