Hello all, an idea.

 

Likely nothing new, but with the relatively recent, and therefore somewhat relevant release of the Horus Heresy Space Wolves, the Vlka...

 

Bits idea: Viking-themed Space Wolves Iconography, Wargear, bits, items, cloaks, pelts, and other such totemic stuff.

- Viking helmets

- Runecraft shoulderpads

- Armor with more Runes, maybe some Bindrunes?

- Other animal totem things, such as Owls, Bears, Ravens, Crows, Wolves, just less Wolves Wolfy McWolfWoof.

- There's a very real side to the Vlka, the Wolves, that's nearly missing.

 

More Viking! Wolf is fine, but there's SO much more to the culture than just the Wolf storm!

 

That's literally it.

Don't know if I like it too much though. The winged helmets are a bit corny (plus historical inaccurate).

I got those Valhalla’s heads to use for scouts cos I liked the rimmed eye design but found them to be way too small for marines.

I bought a load of heads from them a few years back as they looked amazing, then when they turned up, tiny, more like Imperial Guard size, gutted, totally gutted.  I did drop them an email about it and they said they were the right size for their figures.
