Nurgle paint scheme

I like your yellow, I was thinking of trying a yellowish brown. Not sure how to do that exactly

Well, how I did mine was a white primer, then Flayed One Flesh and then washed mix of Seraphim Sepia+Athonian Camoshade+Lahmian Medium and a tiny bit of Agrax Earthshade, afterwards it was drybrushed with more Flayed One Flesh.

To get a more yellowish-brown, I'd replace the Athonian Camoshade with Agrax Earthshade, with maybe a slight bit of Cassandora Yellow in the mix?

Trying to think of a non green color scheme for nurgle daemons. Something fun that helps them stand out as well. Any ideas?

Ya, a pus-like yellow. I experimented with this personally, but should've drybrushed more white on these. Might do so later, but here:

So what I was doing was an homage to other video/board games, like Dr. Mario and Pandemic, which both had yellow, red and blue germs. It turned out yellow IMHO was probably the best alternative to the traditional Nurgle green. They look like boils and stuff. Fun to paint. I used inks on a white basecoat, details at: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/345699-n1sb-labs-infecting-different-subjects-with-nurgles-taint/

I'll echo the recommendation for yellow. I'm doing my Nurgle Daemons in that colour- Black primer, basecoat Averland Sunset, wash heavily with Athonian Camoshade, Nuln Oil and Druchii Violet whilst each is still wet (creating that bruised effect) and then drybrush with Tyrant Skull.

Just don't paint them too brown or you'll have to suffer through all the fecal jokes.

Never bothered me lol, my painting was :cuss when I did brown Plaguebearers anyway, just dont paint Nurgling bases brown though.
