Oooooohkaaaaayyyy... this is getting out of hand. Are they really going to update the whole CSM range? Because it certainly does look like it! Don't know if this is a sorcerer, dark apostle or some kind of new character, but it's definitely a character.

More and more this starts to look like, that this release will have the scope of the Death Guard release.

More and more this starts to look like, that this release will have the scope of the Death Guard release.

Well if we go back to that rumor in fall, it was nearly a entire line update with a codex. So far that rumor is looking true. I think the Helbrutes and vehicles will stay the same (though I would love a new Helbrutes so I can have 2 unique ones). However it looks like everything is shaping up for a total renovation.

Edit: I shouldn't say everything but rather the core, plenty of characters and EC/WE will probably not be re-released.

As someone on the first page mentioned, the book could be swapped out for the hand holding the skull with the master of possessed (or whatever he's called) model. Maybe one is a "regular" version and the other a named character? Who knows!?

Warcom is sometimes a bit buggy but the new article is definitely there. Try switching to 40k news instead of all news.

Oh, I didnt even know that you choose news for just one system. I went straight to the daemon index page. Cheers!

Random question, is havoc spelled with a K in non-English codices? I see that spelling a lot and I'm curious.

There is the new spider to add to that list too, possibly Havocs with the heavy bolter and earlier double ammo belt tease but it could be just a CSM squad weapon option.

 

Also Berzerkers and Noise marines (and probably Lucius and Fabius) will get new kits when the respective demon primarch arrives so are only on loan to main line CSM since the DG and TS split into their own factions. I'd not be surprised to see at least one of these arrive in the next 6-8 months but both will need some work to flesh out a new Codex.

Don't forget that we also discovered the Autocannon hiding in the Shadowspear video, so that's a step closer to Havocs, or at least getting enough heavy weapons in the CSM kit to build them.

 

And I agree about the Noise Marines and Berzerkers. Lucius is not a "probably" though, he's practically a guarantee at this point. He's the only character missing in the "Champions of the Gods" lineup, specially now that Abaddon is here.

I'm curious as to what they'll do with Bile though. Will they reunite him with his Legion, or keep him on his own? He's certainly a character with a history and Legacy, being from the same era as Abaddon. It'd be a shame if they ignored him.

I wonder if Forge World will jump on the Chaos Rework bandwagon with all of this new Daemonkin stuff.

 

Because we all need a 40k Mara Ghal.....in a new "Siege" configuration toting a Dodectuple Soulburner Siege Hwacha Battery or similar nonsense. :)
