Valkyrie rules questions

Some questions on valks:

1) Can Units move after grav chute disembark?

I understand yes

2) If I move the valk let’s say 35” can I drop one command squad(maybe snipers) on a building halfway through its move and another squad(maybe melta) at the end of its move?

I understand yes

3) do you roll the dice for a grav chute disembarking unit all at once and remove a model for each fail(like emergency disembark) or do you roll dice individually for each model.( meaning you might lose your specials weapons/seargrant rather than being able to chose a basic guardsman?

I understand the latter(roll indiv.) but would prefer the former(roll together) lol

What do you guys think? I use 2 valks so really wanna be using them correctly and to full potential. Thanks!

Hmmm so it seems that unless there is a super critical objective to speed to I’m better of moving 19” without risk. Or just moving fulll speed and doing a regular disembark the following turn. Valks don’t have to use grav chute do they? Can do a normal disembark before moving right?

So, when you grav shute you must roll dice for every one in the vehicle that disembark. Squads are rolled together. If you have a squad of 10 grav shute, you roll 10 dice. If you get any 1s you allocate wounds like you took wounds from shooting. Characters must be rolled individually. The tempestus drop force detachment has a stratagem that lets you grav shute without a dice roll.

You must roll a D6 for each model disembarking. On a 1, that model is slain

I've always rolled per model, so roll 1 for Sergeant, 1 for Special Weapons guy, and then 8 more for the regular sqaddies.

I assume this is correct, it doesn't say "that unit loses a model", it says "that model is slain".

I want it to be as Hall describes, but after reading the datasheet again it seems to unfortunately be as Wassa describes.(i just looked in the  big rule book for emergency disembark and it specifically says "your choice" for slain models, where as the quote from Wassa is what the valk datasheet says).  So i take this to mean putting characters in a full speed valk is very dangerous.  I suppose you could always move in hover mode or just simply wait until the following turn and do regular disembark.  If the valk is flying and the enemy kills the valk is it just a normal emergency disembark rolled all together and i can kill the models of my choosing then? Or is it different because its flying?

Yeah, hover mode for disembarking Yarrick!

Full speed for just dropping a barebones squad on an objective deep in the backfield.
