he Blood Angels and their Successors are known throughout the Imperium as master artisans, be it our ability to craft anything from our exquisitely displayed banners, unique Mk IV armour, or our iconic Glaive Encarmines made from the finest Angel's steel. Our Techmarines have the temerity to tinker with STC constructs permitting them to modify what they see fit, with the most famous being the reverse engineering of the Lucifer pattern engines on to not only the humble Rhino chassis-based vehicles but the mighty Land Raider itself. And yet, my brothers, I am troubled.
 
As I gaze upon the battlefield of the Bolter and Chainsword, I see our rivals continually attempt to usurp our rightful place at the pinnacle of model and painting design. Beautiful models, kitbashes, scratch builds stretch out as far as the eye can see, in fact I would go as far as saying that this very board is a casserole of supreme innovation, sublime inspiration, and stunning creativity. However, can it be done when it matters? Can you conjure up promising dish from the sum of all your bitsbox parts? Do you think you can out-artisan the master artisans?
 
You have until 1st April to rustle up as many Blood Angels CHARACTER keyword kitbashes as you wish. With signature badges available for participation and completion on offer, at the end of the month the best ten (in competition) entries will move to the final stage and fight it out to become the Great Baalite Bake Off champion of 2019. Could that be you?

We're now into the final two weeks for the GBBO Heats. Still time to rustle up an entry from your bits box!
 
From this pool of plucky tech-chefs, the judges will pick ten contestants who will move on to the finals. It is here that their concoctions will be voted on by the B&C public to see who will be crowned the Great Baalite Bake Off Champion of 2019!
 
Will it be someone aligned to the Blood Angels forum, or will there be an external winner like in 2017?

After two months of hard toil the artificers of the Blood Angels and their allies have put the final touches on their creations and downed tools as the GBBO has come to a close. For them, anyway. A whole smorgasbord of creations have been modelled, kitbashed and sculpted and this has been put to the judges of THE FORGE to decide which ones standout above the rest. However, it doesn't end here. The link below showcases the finest of the finest creations and there can be only one winner. Vote for your favourite so we can find the Champion of The Great Baalite Bake Off 2019!
