Raven Guard WIP

Hi All,

 

I thought I would start a thread to give myself a bit of encouragement to actually complete some minis and so here it is!  Currently Im working on some Raven guard primaris, some regular deathwatch and a few other one offs I have collecting dust!.

 

Primaris intercessors (will be changing the red bases they are way too red/bright) The sergeant will be half kitbashed from the one in the box and the easy to build one:

Captain & librarian in terminator armour (just in case the team are unsure of directions, these pointy boys seem to know which way to go!)

And this is the first guy Ive got round to painting so far, I will probably change the pistol holder back to brown I thought dark reaper might look good but I dont like it.  For the shoulder pads i want to ask a bit of advice from you all, I want to keep an element of raven guard tradition to my primaris so I will be using the studded and insignia shoulder pads from the MkVI armour. Traditionally with the MkVI armour the studded would be on the left shoulder and the insignia on the right shoulder do you think I should go with that on primaris or might it look a bit odd?

A nice clean start with the first fellow. I think the usual studded pad on the left will work just fine.
