loving the black intercessors. be nice to see some reivers in black too. im wondering what might be possible to stealth up the plasma guns though?

Thanks brother! Heres some green guys for you :) almost completed, just some minor things left.

Aaalmost done with the first squad, need to highlight some weapons and put some more transfers on. I really would like to find my Brown weathering powder as well...only found the black one, and i think black soot on feet/lower legs wont do...

those are definitely some of the best looking infiltrators i've seen. mind sharing how you painted them?

Thank you brother! Of course! Its quite simple really, with wife and 2 kids time to paint is sparse so I need a simple way to paint to the best standard possible:

Olive green armour:

1. Grey base coat

2. All over coat of Vallejo russian uniform

3. Rather heavy drybrush of nurgling green

4 light drybrush of Ogryn camo hitting the hard edges.

5. All over wash of GW camoshade

6. If edges seem a little bland, a really light drybrush of ogryn camo again only on the hardest edges

Done! :)

Everything on here is stunning how’d you do the RG?

Hey! Thank you very much! It’s really simple, I’m striving for a simple yet effective way of painting my marines.

Black armour:

1. Basecoat black, I’m using Vallejo black. Great coverage and a really matt finish.

2. Heavy drybrush of Vallejo black grey or GW eshin grey.

3. Light drybrush of GW dawnstone or Vallejo neutral grey.

3.5 paint the metal parts in leadbelcher

4. All over wash of nuln oil.

5. Really light drybrush of dawnstone on the hardest edges.

6. Light sponging of leadbelcher on the armourplates.

7. Apply transfers and sponge them lightly with black

8. Add other details like eyelenses, parchment and such

9. A brush of some sort if weateringpowder on legs

10. Spray of Matt varnish

Done!

Really easy and hard to mess up!

From basecoat to almost done (minus arms and weapons) in a few hours. I love When the painting-process has settled. I value finding a fast process with minimal fuss and acceptable standard!

just 1 question though, is the nurgling green the dry or layer version? (i assume there's a difference??)

Didnt succed with completing 2 squads. 4 intercessors done and the small marines started getting weapons. Started with the armour on one aggressor too:
