Beatnik cryptek Posted March 21, 2019 Share Posted March 21, 2019 OK, the tesseract ark is a damn good tank for necrons and as is it's a FW kit that sells for 100$ even tho it;s just the rear end of a DDA with some big resin bits added . It's smaller and has less p[arts than a DDA but costs a lot more in $ terms,I sent FW a polite message asking them to make a tesseract ark conversion pack that people could buy to convert a dda to a TA and possibly magnetize it so they could run it as whichever they chose.I got an email back telling me at the current time they don't make a conversion kit as they can't be surer people would have the DDA to do the conversion....Wow, that reply was so dumb it left me stunned for a few seconds.I finally recovered enough from the briefly numbing effect of being hit with a reply that dumb to email back "I think if someone ordered a tesseract tank conversion pack you can safely assume he has a DDA to make the conversion with."Well, I'd like to ask other necron players to join me here and request that GW (And yes fw is gw !) to make a conversion kit available for people who have the DDA model and would like the option of laying it as a tesseract ark.
