Jokes aside, I like it. Enough but not too much bling, and definitely an improvement over some of the old models. The pose could use some magical effect around the fingers to make more sense though, but there are always options...

Really great looking render. I just can't help feeling it's wasted on classic Marines as it doesn't look like they are going to stop focussing on Primaris for loyalists. Happy for everyone who wants to add him to their collection though!

I think in today's meme based culture, I'm supposed to ask why you would say something so controversial, yet so brave? ;)

As for the model itself, I think it's a good digital sculpt, though I hope there's some measures taken so a helmet can be fitted in without having to drill out the face.  I rather like that the model incorporates the camera bit around the helmet, I think this is the first Terminator Librarian to have that feature. My only disappointment, much like the New Store Terminator Chaplain, is that to get access to it is more time/effort/money than I can justifiably give.

 My only disappointment, much like the New Store Terminator Chaplain, is that to get access to it is more time/effort/money than I can justifiably give.

 

The Chaplain was being sold at face value at a store opening in the UK relatively recently (i.e you didn't have to fill in the stamp card by paying a truckload of cash just to access it), and the loot-sharing group on Facebook managed to get loads of them into the hands of group members at face value, so definitely check out that group if you haven't already.

I’ll have to pick this one up of eBay seeing as I won’t be going to any store openings anytime soon. Glad to see an original Marine release, I’ve been watching the range refresh Chaos Marines have been getting with some jealousy.

They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me. Like clay I shall mould them, and in the furnace of war forge them. They will be of iron will and steely muscle. In great armour shall I clad them and with the mightiest guns will they be armed. They will be untouched by plague or disease, no sickness will blight them. That argument doesn't work. It's a single event specific model, not a general release. That's like saying we got new Noise Marines and they all have guitars just because of that one model we got last christmas. rolleyesclean.gif
