Is there anywhere that lists what Beta rules are currently in use? I've lost track of what is and isn't current. Thanks in advance.

It's called the BIG FAQ. The pdf always contains all the beta rules currently in use (with exception of the Bolter Discipline beta rule which can be found in the White Dwarf but will probably get added to the BIG FAQ with the next release this month anyway). msn-wink.gif

Disclaimer:

If my posts appear rude to you, I apologize. It's not meant to be rude in any way, it's just the way folks are in my country. It's really more about being direct than being rude. I know how it's perceived in the english speaking community and I already try to tone it down but I barely notice when it's too much since it's normal for me.

So yeah, I'm really not rude it's basically just cultural differences that act against me here. Again, I apologize.

So each BIG FAQ replaces the previous one rather than adds to it (for purposes of Beta Rules)? That's what I wasn't sure of. Thanks.

Yeah that's how all the Erratas and FAQs work. They always replace the previous versions.

As a note, GW has helpfully tracked the most recent changes to the FAQs in pink, making it easier to figure out what changes are actually new.

All the latest core rules would be Rulebook + Latest Chapter Approved + Latest FAQ right?

You don't need the Chapter Approved for the core rules. Only for additional missions and points updates.

Isn’t the latest Matched Play rules (not just points) in Chapter Approved?

Only the ones you already got when you have the BIG FAQ and the Rulebook. It's just a summary in there.

However what I forgot is that there are some terrain rules in there too. Just some slight updates to what's in the rulebook, but for example the ruins got a pretty important change in that you aren't allowed to deploy units that aren't infantry, beasts or swarms on top of ruins unless it has the FLY keyword (so no Dreadnoughts, tanks or Kastellan robots sitting on top of buildings in your deployment zone anymore).
