Knowing my luck its Dark Eldar or some Fantasy stuff. Under the flesh cloak/coat there is plain cloth, Fabius didnt have that, but it doesnt mean its not a cheeky Emperors Children mini, there is a faction in Warcry though whos emblem is a Chaos star with a Flayed face over the top, it might be linked to that or Henrich Kemmler (SP?) Does he have a current AoS sculpt?

Well it's basically the same as we got for the Executioner except that there's also a face this time, so everything we guessed that time goes for this one as well.

So ... Slaanesh, Bile, Dark Eldar, various AoS stuff, more executioner style models .... did I forget anything? ^^

Kemmler (as with most of the good characters from fantasy) died and has never come back.

I'm guessing that it's Emperor's Children or something else Slaanesh based. You don't just reveal a few daemons for the most neglected chaos good and then move along to something else; GW understands that they have to build some real hype for the Slaanesh release.

But don’t Slaanesh worshippers actively go out and build their own hype to extremes anyway, even if they have no reason to, just for the feels? :evil:

I think it may be for the Slaanesh mortal cultists that people have clamoured for, or EC/NL.

I would be extremely shocked if they released a full infantry box of a unit that only exists when you take a certain character. Just seems unlikely.

 

As for the rumor, my mind immediately went to Bile as well.

I think it is chaosy, but not Fabius.  He got the name Fabulous Bill from having his finely tailored skin coat, not a nasty raw sewn skin covering.

Getting a big Fabius vibe. Now the question is: if it is Fabius, will it just be a one-off release and he joins Codex: chaos? OR are they going to pull an Ahriman and have him re-join the legion in the possible EC codex?

And yet he still has the [Emperor's Children] faction keyword in his datasheet profile... at least in the index, which is the only Chaos book I have.

 

unless my memory is playing tricks on me again and he actually doesn't...

As much as Mortarion and Typhus? If they could get those two in the same codex than I am sure Fabius and Fulgrim in the same codex. I imagine it will be more like how Mortarion leads a more Plague Marine focused army and Typhus a Poxwalker army, if that makes any sense.
