Copper and bronze on necrons.

I have an unusually sane and rational necron dynasty,  the Thothma'Aht, that was originally one of the poorer dynasties in material terms. Later after the great sleep,  they became a very wealthy dynasty due to their careful planning and scientific mastery. 

 

But they still are a practical dynasty and I was thinking of using copper and bronze accents on their stuff to reflect the fact that copper and bronze are working metals,  metals that historicalky we're oractical and useful. Gold and solver are more ornamental and decorative but copper and bronze and iron werre useful. 

 

Yes,  the lords and high rankers may use gold as a symbol of their status and,  practically,  to make other necrons take them seriously. 

 

But they  still acknowledge the value of copper,  bronze and iron and respect them for their usefulness.
