Like the ganger. Gives off a Wild West vibe. I like it.

I second that. Will you paint his clothes tan (camouflage), blue (a military uniform), or black (edgelord)?

Trying for a light tan / bone scheme on the cloth of the duster coat, dark brown and black on the leathers and sew-in plates - it's similar to the IG Steel Legion scheme in a way.

Cheers guys, the painting has commenced, just having a bit of trouble blending the layers together on the coat - going to take a bit longer than anticipated.

In the meantime:

Nicely done!  I was working on my own Amulius conversion to my custom Winged Hussar chapter and every time I work on a model I come over to the forums for some inspiration.  I'll echo the thoughts about your lighting as it does accentuate the model much more so than my own meagre efforts.  I like the bits you chose and the subtle reposing.  Leave it to a space wolf to turn slightly to the left instead of the codex compliant right of the original!  :)

Definitely not a weedy xenos lover!

Sidenote: Your lighting setup makes that look like a render, its really cool.

:laugh.: And he doesn't find the Axe heavy at all.

Lighting was entirely unintentional, just late at night, tired and couldn't be bothered playing with settings.

It's a small push back against Guilliman and his control issues...
