Thought I would start up a progress log to maintain the motivation. Pictures are kind of bad, but I'll work on them. The lighting is a bit harsh, however, I think it represents what they look like in real life. I followed a tutorial from Dante77 on another forum on how to paint Black Templars in his style. Next up 5 Hellblasters: I also built a Deredeo dreadnought, the missles were kind of warped when it came out of the package, i accidentally cut off the nubs where you fit the missile launchers into the middle component. I made do with gluing the missile launchers onto the shoulders haha. It ain't my best building, but it looks good enough. Also it doesn't have the ammo belts cause I think they look silly so I didn't glue them on. Can't help but think bayonets should be fixed to their guns, though- as Templars, they shouldn't hesitate to close with the enemy, unlike Guilliman's cowardly sons. Ahh baynets, yeah I got a comment from another person and they also said the hellblasters needed more swords haha. Those who honor and appreciate the Classics, are becoming all too rare these days. I'm glad you're not one of the fools who denounce the Classics as artifacts of "toxic masculinity" or other such nonsense. My next purchase for an alternate list will be 2 more intercessor squads (5x each) and potentially another 5 hellblasters- in other words, cheers for inspiration! Also, my curiosity is piqued.
