Yeah the platform boots...
Seriously undermining an otherwise great model.
Umm....
He's in GRAVIS ARMOUR guys.
In case people missed it, literally every single non-jump Gravis-armoured Primaris is wearing those boots. Seriously, compare him to everyone else here:
Are we nitpicking the boots just to nitpick or am I missing something?
In any case, I LOVE the new Iron Hands model. Please let him have a variant build for a Primaris Techmarine

It's not nit picking, it's a stance that highlights his footwear. It's a central part of the pose of the model. It screams "look at my new boots".
I kind of get that, but Calgar is in nearly the same pose in regards to his legs. Actually, looking at the 360 of Calgar's model, the stance and showing-off of the boots is almost exactly the same.
So basically, GW did a GW thing and photographed the model at an angle that highlights a feature that people should already know about

My company inform me that their new primaris brother just don't fit in the safety harnesses. And the Chaplain won't let us ride unless we buckle up.

Might snippy snap that claw and just pluf it straight unto that arm so it looks more functional and not Clawgame claw.
Looking pretty neat, gotta see sprues first for more chopping ideas.

So, blind optimism here but I'm hoping this is a dual kit to make a generic Iron Father as well.
I'm hoping it has rules for a normal Techmarine

Nah. That'll be it's own kit assuming it comes out at the same time.

Speaking about the "platforms", I am pretty sure those are the boots from an Aggressor. Maybe they handle higher weight loads better?
I mean he's straight up wearing gravis armour. The boots, the larger backpack, the larger almost terminator-esque shoulder pads, the style of ammo feed on the back. His hood is very toned down, reminscient of how Calgars was too.

Have to agree and don't play Iron Hands. I'd like a different primaris techmarine so He rightfully stays unique. His shoulder pads looks raised so I'm assuming an Iron Hand updgrade sprue kit may also be coming soon.

It's the lack of a regular Primaris techmarine that makes me want to convert him. What loss is to anyone what I do with my own models anyway? If anything it helps them because its an additional sale.

Well you never know we might get regular ones too if a new codex comes out.
