These can be GW or FW units, third party counts as, even Imperial Allies (i.e Assassins). It can be wishlisting, it can be what you're actually going to get next. What would you like? Mine: #1 Xiphon - Got a soft spot for this; it's looks powerful and I want to run at least one in a Flyer Wing with my Stormraven #2 Stormtalon/hawk - Same reason as above and I'd like to magnetise it between the two. Don't have one yet... #3 Deimos Predator - Love the style, want one to round off my Predators for Killshot. Panzer Posted May 23, 2019 Share Posted May 23, 2019 Suppressors - They are cheap and solid, but just 3 really don't do nearly enough work Eliminators - Ironically not to do more damage ... just to have them occupy a second objective in cover from turn 1 on and tank a ridiculous amount of shooting with their 1+ save. My characters never had better protection late game (and who knows maybe I'll kill one of those pesky Techpriest for once ... T4 Sv2+ and self-repair is really ugly). Repulsor Executioner/Apothecary - Really depends on whether it can act as proper anti-tank platform with its fancy Heavy Laser Destroyer maingun. If not I'll just go ahead and get myself the Apothecary I've been holding out on for so long (and probably do some conversion magic to turn him into a Sanguinary Priest considering they have similar stats and point costs) Jolemai 1 Back to top Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Karhedron Posted May 23, 2019 Share Posted May 23, 2019 I really want one of the FW Dreadnoughts. Leviathan looks amazing but I suspect I would get more mileage out of a dual Las Contemptor. Sadly FW stuff is pretty much banned in my local club as too many people remember it as being "pay to win". Secondly I plan to get a Castellan. Ironically, now that it has been nerfed slightly, I don't feel so cheesy for getting one. I picked up the weapons for a Valiant so I plan to magnetise and swap between the two. It looks great and I would love to make my flying tank army larger. #3. A box of the melee armigers. I think they would work well with an aggressive melee list and want to try it out. dread05 Posted May 23, 2019 Share Posted May 23, 2019 (edited) Im setting a budget of roughly 50 euros per month for the hobby. This month I got a DC dread and a razorback. This is my plan for the next 4 months or so: 1) 1 chaplain with jump pack + 1 terminator librarian, I've always liked the Librarian mini and I've recently broke my chaplain so I want a new one. 2) 1 squad of DC and 1 squad of VV, I'm planing to mix these boxes, make 4 DC marines, 4 VV marines, an ancient and a compancy champion with jump packs for my 3rd company. 3) 1 squad of devastators, I've already bought 2 multi meltas a couple of months ago, Im planing to make a 4x multimelta squad. 4) 1 squad of assault marines, the plan here is to make the old meltacide squad, since the last time I went for that I had a change of heart and ended up building company veterans. Another old school box Dreadnought -Primaris Chaplain -A regular jump pack chaplain -One of those Age of Sigmar guys with big wings I'm working on a set of "true scale" death company based on Reivers. The Primaris Chaplain is going to be kitbashed as their "true scale" chaplain with a jump pack, and the big fancy wings to represent the Angel's Wing. Second, I need the assault cannons for a template on some home made versions (ahem) with the original going to the cata plastic squad (they replace hvy flamers, you see). Then, I need those sunset blades for templates (ahem) to build my own dawnbringer squad. The Dawn's are going to be half sanguinary guard, half fancy BA torsos and mk 4 jump packs. Heavy flamer devs. Etc. I just purchased some bits to flesh out an all heavy flamer dev squad and a couple five man melta squads to pay homage to the days of yesteryear. Well, 6 melta-guns in a drop pod isn't a terrible waste for some meltacide. If I can get around 200 points to nuke something I need deleted, I call it a win.
