Deredeo is done. Though I may end up repainting the Missile Launcher to have more black armour sections. Just need to finish the Techmarine, and that just leaves the Intercessors, Deathwing Characters and the Land Raider. Woo!

Okay assembly is finished and I've managed to get the thing sprayed. Weapons are sprayed too but not in the pic. Wouldn't you know it I can't find a can of Caliban Green anywhere, I didn't think it would go that fast after being discontinued. Hey ho.

About halfway through my first vow. Will start on drop pod airbrushing next. Hopefully it doesn't take too long and then onto bikes and Sammael.

Quick question all:

I have a Knight Valiant, and a Knight Gallant in the process of being built. My third Knight I am unsure what to make for the third of the Triptych of the Knights of House Dulon for my ETL vow.

 

Any recommendations?

 

Note: I do not have Canis Rex, so no Preceptor. I am also down two Thermal Cannons from the three Questoris Knights I have.

I personally love crusaders, rfbc and avenger are awesome.

The big knights are super shooty, so maybe make a gallant, and have them be his cover while he charges to destroy enemies

I mean, I'm already making a Gallant, so I think two would be a wee bit overkill :lol:

Can't do that since I've used both Thermal Cannons I have :p

Well, we have 3 options left, paladin, warden, and crusader. I think i have a solution though

 

Roll d3, 1:paldin 2:warden 3: crusader

On a 4+ you upgrade to a thunderstrike gauntlet

On a 4+ you upgraded stubber to melta

Roll 2d6 for for leadership, ld9. If you pass you get a carapace weapon. Roll d3, 1:icarus autocannon 2:ironspear 3:stormspear

Dear fellow brethren, with this picture of proof I declare my first vow finished.

To bad I was a little late for this weeks updade. More ande better pictures will be provided in the next days.

My second vow is already in preperation.

Well. I went to Warhammer Day at my local GW before work. Got those sweet Objective Markers, and I also picked up a Stormraven in-store and ordered a Nephilim/Dark Talon kit. The Stormraven likely won't be vowed for ETL, as I don't want to make myself go crazy with two flyers and FOUR Knights.

Amusingly.... I now have a Warden. I got a friend the Amalia model, three contrast paints at Warhammer Day today, and gave him my leftover GUO sprue and he gave me the Knight Warden he got from our other friend

 

So it looks like I'll make the (completely) unbuilt Knight a Crusader.

Been to hot to paint, but not hot enough for me to not work on models. Just did a dry-fit to see how my Sammael on Sableclaw looks.

 

I like it.

 

I'm thinking my second vow will be majority Ravenwing :lol:
