HERE IS WHERE YOU MUST POST YOUR VOWS Here you must also post your “before” and “after” pics of your vows as well as any WIP you may want to share. You may also use this thread to discuss the progress of the event with your fellow participants, exchange ideas, offer and receive modelling/painting advice and generally have some ETL–related fun! Here you’ll be able to submit vows that include the following units: · Codex: Craftworlds· Codex: Drukhari· Codex: Harlequins· White Dwarf May 2019 Issue: Ynnari· Imperial Armour Index – Xenos: o All units with the “Aeldari” keyword · Index Imperium 2: o All units from the Fortifications list IMPORTANT NOTE: ALWAYS USE THE LATEST PUBLICATION TO SELECT AND PRICE YOUR UNITSArmy lists are constantly updated through a number of publications: new Codices, Chapter Approved, White Dwarf, Forge World PDFs (even experimental ones), Errata, you name it. You must always make sure that you use the most recent list to “price” your units. That said, the original Indices that were released at the dawn of the 40k 8thEdition, in some cases contain units that did not make it to the Codex (or any subsequent publication). In that case you may still use them and “price” them from the Index list. Note that this applies ONLY to the units that did not make it to the Codex. You may not use the Index to “price” units that appear in the Codex or any later publication. If in doubt, contact me to avoid confusion. Before you post you vow make sure you familiarise yourself with the ETL VII rules. I, Acemund Debonair of the Liber Astartes, rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX on the side of the Dirty Xenos Dark Eldar (But really still the Liber) and vow to complete Five (5) Wracks of total value 45 Points on or before September 1st, 2019. Success will bring me eternal glory, plus loot and possibly prisoners from real-space, and failure (which is NEVER an option) will doom me to wear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end. I admit that's more of a light shower than a storm, but hey, this is all I've got left to paint. EDIT: The Forum ate my picture - I suppose the path of creating genetic abominations is never an easy one! Between the ETL itself and The Mark of The Liber event, I've never been more motivated to put paint to plastic. So with that said, let me report a progress update: VOW 1 Completed! That's my entire model backlog cleared! That said, I am totally going to get more - hopefully before the ETL finishes! As a bonus pic, here's a WIP shot from where I was up to this morning: Wracks are a whole lot of fun to paint, I might wind up with another squad of them simply 'cause I enjoyed painting them so much. Long story short, my second vow's going to be a lot smaller than I originally planned, but such are the perils of dealing with treacherous xeno pirates I'll get the vow up later tonight if I get time. Keep at it, brothers - some truly fantastic models on display here, can't wait to see how they look with a coat of paint! EDIT: Let's do this! I, Acemund Debonair of the Liber Astartes, rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX on the side of the Foul, Insidious Xenos Dark Eldar (But really still the Liber) and vow to complete One (1) Archon of total value 76 Points on or before September 1st, 2019. Success will bring me eternal glory and ensure my rise to the upper echelons of Commorragh, and failure (which is NEVER an option) will doom me to wear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end. EDIT EDIT: Dark_Master, that Avatar is incredible! It's like a bronze statue filled with molten lava and fury - truly a worthy vessel for the War God!
