Commander Dawnstar Posted July 5, 2019 Share Posted July 5, 2019 (edited) As is my nature, I ended up deciding to pick up the last of the Apocalypse boxes from my discount retailer of choice ... so it looks like I'm going Triptide on my next vow. Â I'm actually looking forward to being a bit more adventurous with these suits and trying to give them some more dynamic posing than a lot of the more rigid and/or uniform ones I already have. The drones are mostly done, they just need the lenses and the guns/shield generator painted, and then I'll be moving on to the Broadside now that I know the scheme works. (The Stealth Suits' lenses are kinda horrible but that's because they'd been repainted enough times to obliterate all the detail in most cases. Making the 'best' of a bad situation.) --- I have my Apocalypse box now, so I'll be building my third Riptide, a Coldstar and Drones and then revowing. Â It did used to be for the support system which allowed you to land in difficult terrain - now I just stick them on cause I can ;) Â Longstrike has 2 of them to help him stand out.
