IV Legion: 2 lists to compare

Indefragable

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Looking to get opinions on which list is "meaner" and which would be more fun to play as an opponent. I'm guessing B is a bit tamer since there's the Iron Circle.

I've had good success with List A....but perhaps too much. Not to sound cocky, but I worry it may be a bit mean overall.

I want to get a list that is a bit more "fun" for opponents to play while still having some teeth.

My ideal would be to have Peter Turbo in a list as well since I love my-Primarch-vs-your-Primarch type matchups, but it's pretty hard to squeeze that in.

Feedback appreciated.

Neither one of them strikes me as particularly 'mean', though the first one is a bit tougher, yes, but it's still open to counter-measures.

But yes, the second list looks a bit more fun to play against for a casual opponent.

Both lists weaknesses ? Scoring units.

List one has three footsloggin' blobs which are easily removed, but it still has the DS'ing Terminators which are scoring as well and will be able to claim an objective.

List two only really has three scoring units in 3k pts., which is not nearly enough IMHO.

In terms of fluffyness over raw power and getting your man Peter into list #2, I'd consider the following: Switch Siege Tyrants and Leviathan for Perty and attached Legion Terminators. Then switch the Siege Breaker for a Forgelord to go with the Iron Circle (restoring HP to them). Or just have Perty join them, but IMHO his teleportation ability via 'Relentless Strategist' outweighs 'The Shield of the Iron Tyrant'.
