Help get Nate to Warhammer World.

Hi everybody,

Apologies if this is inappropriate, I wouldn't normally post about this sort of stuff but this came to my attention via a GW Facebook group this morning and struck a chord.

A 13 year old boy, Nate, has 2 inoperable brain tumours and is currently receiving palliative care.

 

His dying wish is a trip to Warhammer World. It looks as though his target on GoFundMe has already been reached but I was wondering if anybody could reach out to GW to see this kid get the red carpet treatment when he visits?

I've linked to the charity page but essentially Nate has autism and was severely bullied as a child. He and his brother got massively into Warhammer and it's all they now talk about.

His family are in the UK but due to his medical needs (constant medication, wheel chair etc) his parents are fundraising to help out with the costs to get him to Nottingham so they can visit Warhammer World.

As someone who is also on the autism spectrum (Sematic pragmatic disorder, forum Asperger & difficult with reading, writing).  I can honesty say travel down to Warhammer World for events, or just general trip does mean a lot to me.

I really hope something work out & I hope the link help out as well.

I think A D-B has PMs disabled, as he is something of a celebrity in our little corner of the world. I imagine he'd get swamped with requests to write about people's favorite faction otherwise.

 

I can't do anything to help the lad, but I hope he gets his trip.

Sorry for delayed response, was AFK for most of weekend.

Huge thanks to everybody for responding to this, the community team have confirmed they are aware of this and he'll be getting the full tour. :)

Also big shout out to the staff at GW Glasgow and everybody at Poppy's Angels and the huge amounts of people that have donated or sent gifts etc.

I'm not directly involved in this but my local club have been helping out and it's amazing to see the hobby community pulling together across the world. :)
