The Rumour Engine cares not how you pronounce GIF, for its sorcerous images are sent from the future in an unknown file format!

I see GW is getting into the debate, but I don't believe it is related to this week's engine.

The edge highlighting looks rather dirty so I guess it's actually a pretty small bit.

definently some sort of Imperial power generator, probubly AdMech considering the cog imagery.

I think it may be misdirection. The mechanicus cog has 12 teeth, that has 8.

Or perhaps an Iron Hands thing that will be coming out alongside the upcoming Iron Father model

It's also lacking the skull/head of the Opus Machina.

If memory is correct, the cog with the inner circle differs from every vehicle-based cog in the AdMech/primaris/knights line. Usually there is no circle in the center, but a skull. 12 teeth instead of 8, and teeth exactly at the top and bottom (to make painting harder) instead of rotated to this easier position.

Also, the generator housings (big and small) are always designed the same way - round, with recessed nuts, not with a separate outer ring with nuts on top. For reference, see Onager or Redemptor. Not familiar with Fantasy stuff, but might this be from one of their steampunky factions?

(For the record, it's 'jif'. Just saying.)

Jraphics Interchange Format?!? Nah...

The Iron Hands veteran from Kill Team Cassius has a cog with an inner circle on his armour.  Its not exactly the same as this one, the circle is a bit smaller and he has more teeth on the cog, but there is a similarity

It's only jif if youre the same type of person who pronounces GUI as gooey.

Your opinion is important, and someone posting here probably does care what you think. You should go tell them. Remember that it really hurts to come up with an idea you care about and have no one else care. Go care about something and tell them what you think. Now. Think of what it would have meant to you when you were young.

That notch in the top left appears in some astartes armors. It almost looks like a knee joint to me with close fitting armor with a "shin" being whats pointed at 7-8 o'clock.

Maybe Redemptor 2 being teased alongside Repulsor 2's release?

That makes sense, if you turn the image sideways, there's a feeder line for Las power angled just like the suppressor feed line

This is what I was thinking but you beat me to it. I'm going with some type of walker. I think they have the image rotated 90 degrees to throw us off.

...does this confirm or deny relatedness to a Primarch release?

Base of Leman Russ' Base it is then...
