Tyranids Datasheets for Apocalypse

I am thinking that the Forgeworld Tyranids - ie. the Hierophant and the two Hierodules are particularly lacklustre - especially when compared to Imperial & Renegade Titans and Knights...

Point for point, yeah, they're better. 4 knights (96pl) offer huge versatility.

But dont discount what a hierophant can do

Statistically, a hierophant can *almost* delete a knight per turn if it shoots and charges (14.7 blast markers, you need 15 to kill a knight). That's a huge deal.

In a 4 paladins with stormspears vs 1, assuming they can always shoot and charge, in a vacuum of course, a hierophant will solo all 4 knights in 4 turns, and have 1w left.

This takes into account the half attacks for half wounds on the hphant and the changing number of attacks caused by incendiary icor.

95pl can handle 100pl worth of knights

Heirophants kinda rock. Check out playontabletops apoc game on youtube. Reiver and Warlord together fail to kill even 1 over two rounds. Command decks count for a lot and a 3+ save on a d12 kinda rocks. Surprised the heck out of me anyway
