jbaeza94 Posted June 30, 2019 Share Posted June 30, 2019 Hey guys, have a quick question. Whats the funnest way to run 2 carnifexes? Is a double shooty fex good? Or is mixed weapons the way to go? What about the special ones like the screamer killer and thornback? Itll primarily be used in apocalypse, but they may see use from time to time in 40k. Closet Skeleton Posted June 30, 2019 Share Posted June 30, 2019 Screamer Killers are too expensive, regular ones with two pairs of talons, adrenal glands and sporecysts are okay in my experience from running 3 of them with old one eye. Paired deathspitters or devourers are the most popular tournament carnifex. You don't see the stranglethorn/venom cannon very often in general and that's most of why no one uses thornbacks. jbaeza94 Posted July 7, 2019 Author Share Posted July 7, 2019 Ok i see. So i guess ill go with devourers. I was looking at upgrade options, i think enhanced senses for bs3 was worth it. Maybe scything tail for defense in cc? 18" range for the guns put them in threat range for being charged. Also, what about sporocyst?
