Twenty scoring bodies (at Toughness 3) in two units riding in two Auroxes  ... yeah, no.

 

Also, free Slay the Warlord  since the Lord Marshall has no place to go and no unit to join.

 

And ... what's the purpose of the Aegis in that list ?

 

Perhaps your friend should try to approach the Heresy from a less ... 40k point of view.

Needs many moar boots on the ground. SAs strength is in their cheap as chips infantry and baller armor combos.

Veletaris are cool and should gonin dracs with demo cannons, tercio with 2 sections and a flamer section with HQ squad and medics behind the aegis for sure

Lord Marshall with a retinue in an aurox/drac/little Bird for sure

Shadowsword... don’t think a tank commander can go there... but for sure can I’m a valdor- also cheaper pts wise.

The chem infernus will not make friends at all and is my favorite SA vehicle... so much so that I sold the second one so I could still play and have friends;)

 

The lack of scoring units at 2500 means he’s gonna get wiped real fast in most games, that an the Marshall chilling by his lonesome... he’s gonna be scared... or he’s Rambo but without being Sly.
