Counts-as and even a thought to homebrewing.

 

Has anyone tried them?

 

I've variously seen them suggested as:

- Kastellans

- Space Marine Assault Centurions

- Dreadnoughts (e.g. Ironclad)

 

Is there any other thought you'd had on these?

 

I understand they're about half-height of a Kastellan?

 

If I were to homebrew, I'd be imagining a marginally smaller and less tough Kastellan, with grav/melta (simple), with relatively standard deep-striking thanks to mining. (Spec rule/strategy to allow a data smith to come up with 'em?)

 

Does anyone have a good estimation of equivalences and differences to triangulate or infer from Necromunda'ambot rules, or from the Ambull sheet from Blackstone Fortress?

They are pretty small. Converting them into Kataphrons may be a cool idea.

As Son said, probably a bit too small for kastellans really, but they could be kitbashed into some pretty awesome breachers (shame im just finishing up painting 12 standard breachers and need no more lol).

 

Or could make for a very different looking dominus
